Rates: Rates and what is included in your weekend rental can be found under the "what's included/rates" tab. Prices are subject to change without notice. Additional fees may occur for weddings larger than 100 people.
Booking Fee: In order to reserve your wedding date at Rustic Rose Barn Weddings you must sign a contract and pay a non-refundable deposit of 50%. The remaining balance will be due 3 months before your wedding date.
Insurance and Damage Deposit: Rustic Rose Barn Weddings requires that the client holds a liability event insurance policy for no less than $2,000,000 with Rustic Rose Barn Weddings named as the co-insured. The client must submit proof of this insurance 1 month prior to the event.
One month prior to your event a damage deposit of $1500 is due. This deposit will be refunded to you less any damages incurred by you, your guests or contracted vendors during your entire weekend stay. If damages exceed $1500 the client will still be held responsible and an insurance claim may be filed.
All vendors entering the property must be properly licensed and insured. Liability and personal injury insurance policies from all vendors must be submitted to Rustic Rose Barn Weddings at least 1 month prior to entering and working at the venue.
Cancellations: Cancellation of your event more than 3 months prior to your rental start date will result in forfeiture of your deposit. Cancellation within 3 months of your rental start date will result in forfeiture of your entire payment.
Event Hours: Weekend rental: During your 5 day stay at Rustic Rose Barn Weddings only one event is permitted in the barn without prior approval. On your event day the venue may be used for up to 10 hours. Music must be lowered by 11:30 PM to soft amplified music or acoustic music, and the event must be finished by midnight.
Wedding day rental: The venue is available for use for up to 10 hours on the wedding day. Music must be lowered by 11:30 PM to soft amplified music or acoustic music, and the event must be finished by midnight.
Catering and Alcohol: Only licensed and insured caterers are permitted to serve food and alcohol at Rustic Rose Barn Weddings. Bartenders must hold liquor license and must be the only ones serving alcohol, we do not allow self serve bars at our venue. The caterer is responsible for setup, serving and cleanup of the catering area and must remove all food and service created trash.
Fire and Safety: Candles are allowed in the barn but they must be in enclosed candle holders. We do not allow any open flame candles. Sparklers may be used outside in designated areas. No fireworks or wish lanterns are allowed. Roasting or open flame cooking is not permitted inside or near the barn. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the barn and only allowed outdoors in designated areas.
The optional bonfire must be monitored by a Rustic Rose staff member. No personal or self-created fire pits are allowed. The bonfire costs an additional $250 and will only be lit if weather permits. If the fire is not lit due to in-climate weather you will be refunded the full amount.
Rice, real rose petals, bubbles etc. are permitted to be thrown during the ceremony. Silk flowers, confetti or any non-biodegradable product is not permitted to be thrown.
Cleanup: Rustic Rose Barn Weddings is responsible for cleaning the venue after your event. All vendors must remove their garbage and leave their work space as found. All rentals, flowers and personal items must be removed by the end of event. Any decor left at the venue will be discarded or considered a donation to our decor stock.
Restrooms: A restroom trailer must be rented for your event and is not included in your rental fee. A two-stall trailer should be rented for weddings of 100 people or less, and a larger 3-stall or more for weddings larger than 100 people.
Wedding Attendants: Rustic Rose Barn Weddings provides one attendant on your wedding day to keep things running smoothly. The wedding attendant is responsible for being present during event setup, directing vendors where to go, making sure the tables and chairs are setup according to your layout, helping to keep you on time according to your timeline, and overseeing the event until the end. We recommend hiring a parking attendant if you expect to have more than 20 cars driving to the event.
An outside wedding planner is required for the day of your wedding if you will be having more than 130 guests.
Rehearsal Dinner and Farewell Brunch: Week long rentals only. A small rehearsal dinner and/or farewell brunch may be held on the lawn of the house or in the pavilion adjacent to the house for no additional fee. If the client wishes to use Rustic Rose Barn Furniture and/or cleanup services for either of these events addition fees will apply. The pavilion can hold up to 40 people, the lawn can hold up to 200 but is not covered so proper weather precautions must take place.
